What's an adu?

 ADU, or Adjacent Dwelling Unit, are self-contained, smaller living dwellings on the same lot of a single-family house. It's either attached to the main house or detached as separate stand alone home. Typically they are independent cottage, granny-unit or guest house. A great way to add value to your home, create income, and/or house a family member.
